Application of least distance and network analysis in gas reservoir suitability analysis in Kumasi, Ghana (2018)

Study description

In this group class project, we demonstrated how network analysis can be used in finding a land parcel for a gasoline reservoir - the parcel that is centrally located from all available filling stations. Only sample results are shown here. We used gasoline stations in Kumasi, Ghana.

The least distance cost resulted from node N3554 with an approximate cumulative distance of 19.1km hence representing the reservoir site that will be most appropriate if distance cost is to be considered.
